THE LABORATORIES

The laboratories of the festival are organized in four sections, dedicated to the PUBBLICO PAESAGGIO theme, and inside of each one are developed three specific research projects. Then one more section is precisely dedicated to the formative/popular purpose.

1) The first section looks over the relationships between PROGETTO E PAESAGGIO (Planning and Landscape), to underscore the importance of a reciprocity between the two components without which the project develops with no references, in the relativism of a self-referential logic, and the landscape is reduced to a pure spatial entity of sedimentationn, a mix-up of elements without any relationship meaning.
2) The second section would like to verify, using demonstrative examples, the different and particular ways of the architects’ involvment inside the landscape (ARCHITETTI NEL PAESAGGIO), starting from a reflection about the methodological autonomy of landscape planning. With different situations is confirmed the impossibilty to leave aside the landscape question whenever the architect has been able to leave a significative history behind himself.
3) The third section want to experiment a sort of GEO(FOTO)GRAFIA DEL PAESAGGIO (Geo(photo)graphy of the landscape) where architects and photographs, readers of the territory phenomenologies, arrange an analithic method to give back the landscape parts, pointing out their significancies and their role inside a processo to re- the characters. An interpretative a-priori to bring a methodologic incentive in respect of the optimizing of the landscape conservation and tranformation.
4) The fourth section, ULTRAPAESAGGIO, explores different and unexpected ways to define the landscape, according to a diversified meaning regarding the perception conditions, materialities of the components, spatiality (arriving to metaphorical and virtualized dimensions), given back with the help of different knowledges, apart from architecture, expressions and arts.
5) The fifth section is oriented to plan and realise a CORSO ACCELERATO DI PAESAGGIO (Crash course in landscape), a popular and formative occasion with an atypical style that, starting from a guided fruition of the final results of the Festival, could give some interesting arguments to boost a critical and not trivializing relationship with the idea of landscape and the different phenomena through which display and change itself.
